As an organization and with the guidance of Coach Plum, we strive to provide a high quality basketball program for grades 3-6. We push our players to have fun while improving skills and in-turn level of play, lending itself to more competitive opportunities throughout the year. Our youth program is designed with the end in mind; we want to develop any players involved in our program to become successful high school players. Our skill development, team placement and overall program philosophy places this as our most important goal when it comes to the on-court development of our players.
Typical tournament schedule. Can be adjusted based on coaches and director preference:
● Three tournaments between November and December
● Two tournaments between January and February
Winter League through Conqueror or OSA (COVID-19 limitations will determine league) beginning in January with games on Saturday or Sunday through February or first week in March depending on the league.
Coaches for grades 3-6 will be expected to cultivate self-confidence in players as well as skills appropriate for their teams abilities. Players will learn the core abilities and techniques: Dribbling, Passing, and Shooting. Players will gain expertise in other fundamental court awareness activities such as offensive and defensive strategies, in-bound plays, referee calls, proper etiquette on and off the court and last but not least have FUN!
COST: $275 or $325 depending on if a uniform is needed, which includes reversible jersey, shorts, shooting shirt and certified basketball. In addition, the cost covers the summer of 2022 skill development sessions that will be provided by Coach Plum. More information to come towards the end of the 2022 school year.
